Mergers and Acquisitions

Assessing the financial side of due diligence is an essential part of any Merger and Acquisition process.

It is also vital to assess the culture which is a much more ethereal task for investors, private equity firms and venture capitalists.

Our Process to Assess Cultural Fit

We set up a consultancy workshop that benefits both sides; the organisation being assessed and our client. In a workshop with the organisation, we discuss their biggest challenges and focus on what they would like to address, delivering a valuable session with great insights into their business.

From this session, we can also observe how the organisation functions and report back to our client. This approach delivers a much deeper insight into the people factors, team dynamics and behaviours which could otherwise derail seemingly sound investment options or acquisitions.

Quirk Solutions worked closely with Selbey Anderson to assess internal dynamics and highlight blindspots for a potential acquisition.

Listen to Group CEO Dominic Hawes give his testimonial to how we helped de-risk the process considerably by reporting on workplace culture and functions, whilst focusing minds as transactions neared completion.

Managing Director of Quirk Solutions Chris Paton appeared on Selbey Anderson’s podcast to outline the process we utilise to assist the Mergers and Acquisitions process.

Are you trying to gauge if a potential partner is the ‘right fit’?
