This three-day residential course brings together current and emerging leaders from different organisations to strengthen the everyday behaviours that shape team performance. Learning alongside people from other businesses gives you fresh perspectives on familiar challenges and the chance to compare how different leaders communicate, make decisions, and support their teams.
Our approach is practical and experiential. You will explore core leadership principles, reflect on your own behaviours and workplace challenges, then test different approaches through realistic scenarios and small-team exercises. Our facilitators will provide direct feedback, helping you see the impact of your behaviour in real time and understand what you could do differently.
You will leave with a clearer understanding of how you lead, stronger judgement and more confidence to communicate clearly, delegate effectively, make sound decisions and help others take greater ownership.

Beyond the Classroom
Our residential format has been developed to build relationships and continue conversations outside the formal sessions. There will be opportunity to participate in outdoor activities, sports, and use of the on-site leisure facilities, followed by relaxed dinner and drinks with the cohort to wind down the evening.

Our Leadership and Development Programmes are formally accredited by the Institute of Leadership, a globally recognised professional body setting standards for leadership excellence. This accreditation confirms that the programme meets rigorous international benchmarks in leadership capability, ethical practice, and professional development.
On completion of this short course, participants will be given free access for 12-months to the IoL online learning portal, with its webinars, podcasts, articles and learning materials. Before the course: Participants will identify a live workplace challenge and complete an Insights Discovery Full Circle profile with feedback from a small number of colleagues to establish their development priorities. Each questionnaire takes approximately 15 minutes.

Our Programme
Across three focused days, leaders build the habits that make teams work better: clearer communication, stronger decision-making, better delegation, more useful feedback, and greater self-awareness.
The programme moves through three connected areas: self, team and organisation. Participants explore how they lead, how they affect others, and how to create the conditions for people to take ownership and perform.
The sessions are practical, lively and grounded in real leadership situations. Participants learn through discussion, challenge, peer exchange, and hands-on exercises. We ensure everyone leaves having practiced useful tools and with clear actions they can apply straight away with their teams.
